Samantha Hassan

Director Of Events and Audio Visual, The Star Sydney

Samantha Hassan is the Director of Events and Audio Visual at The Star Sydney, and has over 12 years’ industry experience across leadership, event management, production audio visual, venue operations and experiential & brand marketing.

She started with The Star in 2014 and has since led the delivery of some of the sport and entertainment industry’s biggest awards nights – including the ARIAs, AACTAs and Dally M Awards. Prior joining The Star, Samantha worked with global technology brands including Microsoft and Activision.

She currently leads The Star Sydney’s Events and Audio-Visual teams who are responsible for implementing all event, production and audio-visual elements across the property including signature and casual restaurants, bars, and the multi-purposed Event Centre.

During her time managing The Star Sydney’s Events team, and its multimillion-dollar Event Centre, it has been widely recognised within the meeting and events industry with multiple awards.

Samantha is passionate about connecting brands and audiences through live, engaging, and innovative experiences. She strives to ensure that each client’s event is a memorable experience, that her team delivers guest services excellence, and that level of service is reflected across every facet of the events she oversees.
